I had the good fortune to pre-record a short interview for Sparks Literary Festival, including reading an excerpt from a short story collection I’ve been working on.

My segment goes live on Saturday the 30th, at 7pm.

Also, thank you to William Ping for the kind words and the mention in his CBC article previewing the festival—and further, for the thoughtful interview he conducted during Sparks.

If you’re on the fence about watching, I am fully wearing a complete formal denim outfit with a 1984 Wendy’s promotional hat, so, that should help you decide one way or another whether or not you want to tune in.

AFAIK the videos stay up for a little while after they premiere.
