Totally forgot to post anything here at the time, but was fortunate enough to moderate a panel for the Writer’s Guild of Alberta, discussing banned and challenged books, the history of censorship, and the emancipatory potential of literature. It looks like the panel may end up on the Freedom to Read Week website actually (it might get trimmed down a bit, + captioned), but here’s some screen-grabs (captioning of varying quality) my friend took of me in my very intense booger green fringe western shirt from Fashion Brand Company (since when am I a hand-talker? is this a new behaviour learned from the Zoom-saturation of the Covidian era? UGH).
